About Vale County Football Club

We’ve journeyed from the lowest lows to the highest highs, lost 14-2 and won 8-1, but it’s only served to make our successes taste all the sweeter. From Birmingham Tigers to JDX Goat Herders to Balham Badgers, Gruff Cartwright to Alex Slater to Pete Moran, the club has faced numerous teams and fielded countless players over the years, all of which has made the VCFC experience richer. 

It’s club that has touched the hearts of many over the years, from various (and now defunct) WAGs to lifetime fans such as Jonathan. Without you, we are nothing. Indeed, the lure of playing in front of less than five fans every Sunday at Selly Park was one of the club’s main bargaining chips when it came to attracting talent during the transfer windows, so we really cannot thank you enough for your continued support. Hopefully we’ll see you all on those icy Sunday mornings at Clapham Common soon enough.

We’d like to thank our evergreen sponsor, Solfix, for their continued support of the boys and the Vale County community. Our success in London has seen the club grow off the field too, with a leap from 95 -> 274 followers tuning in to Twitter, and 84 -> 235 followers now on Instagram (June 2018 -> April 2020. And why wouldn’t you, with photoshops and match reports like ours. We like to think we’ve repaid the investment of £100 Solfix made to us now, with at least one (excellent) conservatory extension in Greater Manchester from one of our leads.

As we go into the 2020/21 season entering the SSFL in League 2, you (whoever you are) can be sure of one thing - that the club will do everything in its power to rise through the leagues in the same way it always has, with vigour and verve. Don’t let anyone tell you that settling the 2019/20 season on PPG was anything other than *the only decision*
