The eldest statesman of the Vale team, Al is the least suspecting shithouse in history, and also Vale’s greatest ever. Stepovers during a London cup match away at Brockley have attained legendary status, and were followed by the familiar sight post match of him cycling away (probably for 50+ miles and posted on Instagram). Rumours have it he’s the also the favoured son of Keith, father and goalkeeping mentor of the Cheshire brothers.
