The elder statesman of the club, as well as record appearance holder, Strang has been part of the County’s spine since the very first match. Don’t be fooled by his worryingly pale complexion or lanky frame, as both in the air and on the ground there’s few better defensively in the SSFL (probably).

Update: having overcome various niggles and clingy women, the pale lanky Swede has become a stalwart of Vale’s efforts in London, even poaching a goal or two.
